How long do Honor phones get updates?

7 years of OS upgrades + 7 years of security updates (Magic 7 series flagships)Official

Honor announced at MWC 2025 a commitment of seven years of Android upgrades plus seven years of security updates for its flagship Magic series, starting with the Magic 7 Pro and Magic V3 — putting it alongside Google and Samsung. That's a major increase over Honor's previous four-upgrade, five-year flagship policy. The seven-year scheme rolled out first in Europe before expanding, and it applies to the flagship Magic line rather than the cheaper N- and X-series, which get shorter support. Honor left the official US market years ago, so this is most relevant to European and Asian buyers.
