Honor 400 Lite

Honor lists up to six major Android upgrades from its April 2025 release, with security support running toward April 2031. Because Honor's published commitments for the Lite tier are less explicit than for its flagship models, we record the later part of this window as an estimate rather than a firm guarantee.

OLED screens control brightness by flickering the pixels on and off very rapidly; PWM frequency is how fast. Low-frequency PWM around 240Hz causes eye strain and headaches for a minority of people, especially at low brightness. At 3,840Hz the flicker is far above the threshold most sensitive users can perceive, which makes this a genuinely good phone for anyone who has struggled with OLED eye strain.

Yes. Most 6.7-inch phones with 5,000mAh batteries land between 190g and 210g, so the 400 Lite is roughly 10–20% lighter than its direct rivals. Over a day in a pocket or held up in bed, that is a difference you feel. Honor achieves it with a plastic frame and back, which is the trade-off.

The standard 400 costs around $110 more and is a meaningfully better phone: a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 instead of the Dimensity 7025 Ultra, a 200MP OIS camera against a 108MP without OIS, 66W charging instead of 35W, and a brighter 5,000-nit panel. The Lite is lighter at 171g versus 184g and cheaper. Both promise six years.
