The NFC problem worth knowing about
A recurring pattern across Infinix's range, and one that no update can ever fix, is the omission of NFC on phones that otherwise look well specified. The Note 50s is the clearest example: an excellent AMOLED panel, a stabilised camera and a capable 5G chip, with no NFC hardware at all, which means Google Wallet and every other tap-to-pay service is permanently unavailable. Because this is a hardware omission rather than a software one, it is worth confirming on the specific model before buying — the phone will never gain the capability later.
