How long do Nokia (HMD) phones get updates?
HMD, which makes Nokia-branded and now self-branded HMD phones, has never published a single comprehensive update commitment, and support is tiered by model. Nokia X-series phones got three OS upgrades and three years of security, G-series two upgrades with three years, and C-series no upgrades and about two years. After the shift to HMD branding, models like the Aura and Crest came with no promised OS upgrades and roughly two years of patches. HMD does sell some phones in the US, but its windows are short and inconsistent versus the flagship brands.
