Is the F7 Ultra camera good enough to replace a flagship?
Close. The 50MP main and 50MP 2.5x floating telephoto are strong, and the 32MP ultra-wide is far better than the 8MP units elsewhere in the range. Where it falls short of a Pixel or an S25 Ultra is processing consistency and long-range zoom — 2.5x optical is useful but no substitute for a periscope. For most photography it is very competitive.
Why does the Ultra have a smaller battery than the cheaper F7?
Space. The Ultra fits an extra telephoto module, a wireless charging coil and a larger ultra-wide sensor into the same body, and something had to give. It carries 5,300mAh against the standard F7 5G's 6,500mAh. In exchange, 120W charging refills it far faster, so real-world downtime is comparable even if screen-on time is not.
Should I buy the F7 Ultra or a Galaxy S25 FE?
The F7 Ultra wins comfortably on hardware — a much faster chip, better cameras, and vastly quicker charging for around $100 more. The S25 FE wins on support (seven years to October 2032 versus six to March 2031), software polish, resale value and service network. If you keep phones until they stop updating and want the safer ownership experience, the Samsung; if you want the most capable phone for the money, the Poco.
