Apple doesn't publish an end date, but iPhones have a consistent ~4-year update track record — on that basis the P50 Pro should be supported until around August 2025. Buying it today still gets you about -0.8 years of safe use (Apple's written legal minimum is 5 years).

Frequently asked questions

Does the P50 Pro support 5G?

No. Both the Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 888 variants are restricted to 4G connectivity because of US sanctions, even though the chips themselves are 5G-capable.

Does the P50 Pro have Google apps?

No. It launched with HarmonyOS/EMUI and the Huawei AppGallery, without Google Mobile Services or the Play Store.

Is the P50 Pro still worth buying in 2026?

Mainly as a budget camera phone or collector's piece. Its imaging is still excellent, but it is 4G-only and its official software-support window has largely ended.
